Final countdown

Who doesn’t love digging up for treasure? Especially when it comes with a twist and prize money at the end of it. The event “Final Countdown” under the X- Factor domain centered around the theme of terrorism wherein the participants were given some clues to remember and details of ammunition, maps, number of suspected terrorists etc. The participants had to memorize the names of ten suspects and follow the clues that finally led to SRM University as the target of terrorist attacks.

After testing the memory skills in round one, the contestants progressed to the second round where they were asked questions like  “how much RDX was there in the box?, where was the ship hijacked?, when did the Interpol get news from India?, etc.”  They were given a time limit of 20 minutes in which to answer the questions. It was fun watching the participants scratch their heads in confusion and trying to recall the names of the suspects.

“It was an amazing event that had the memory test and the questionnaire session and we found it very interesting.” Said the participants.

Under the Prelims, out of 35 teams only 20 teams were selected for the final level of rounds and the rest were eliminated. The finals will be conducted on 11^th and it would be amazing to see the teams racking their brains for answers to diffuse the bomb and achieve their victory.
